Vintage Gathering Summer 2012

The setting for The Vintage Gathering was beautiful.  Doesn't this setting make you want to come on in?  Cathy opens her  farm to these great vendors to come and sale their special treasures for all of us to come and gather.
These vendors have worked hard to bring some very unique treasures for us to gather.  Over the last few years I have watched this sale grow into a sale not to be missed.  They have built it and the crowds are coming.

Mary Jo's aprons, need I say more.  She has been published in Apronology!

Cheryl from Voondi and her friend.  Cheryl is from the first Farm Girl group I belonged to.

Melanie of All my favorite things.  A new friend.
Andy from Andy's Attic, Amy from So Into Vintage, did I tell you she has been published in Romantic Country Autumn 2012 issue?   Then we have Michelle, endless energy!!!!  An inspiration to me!
So Into Vintage
The Lavender and Honey Girl, another one of my Farm Girl Friends. All Organic honey!  I can't wait to have our little reunion of Farm Girls!
Andy's Attic
Karen of Plain and Simply Karen with her granddaughter.  Beautiful!
The music set the mood.  Thank you for your beautiful voice.
Jay the Metal Man.
Rose Halderman aka Second Hand Rose.  I have known Rose for over 30 years.  She brings some of the best vintage finds to all the shows she participates in.
Michelle of My Shabby Passions.  Now that girl can find some great treasures.
I am thinking I should of bought this! Dang!
Roost Reimagined, I met these two sweet ladies at Farm Chicks, you can feel the passion they have for what they do.  They are hosting a show in Camas, Washington on August 25th you won't want to miss.
Chris of Mack and Momma.  She brings so much talent to this venue.  She also has an Art Studio in down town Vancouver at Main Street Vintage.
Chris and Annette!
When I go to these events, I too am scouting out some treasures, like this.  Yes I did buy this to add to my collection.  I love to see all these wonderful vendors whom have become a family of friends.  I also love to run into many of my friends and clients as I explore this adventure.
Our neighbors and friends Brian and Linda Stansberry, I was so excited to see them here.  I think they enjoyed this show very much!
Another Farm Girl Friend Missy  She is a maker of some of the most beautiful soaps and bath creations available at Main Street Vintage in down town Vancouver and Esty.
My friend and client Judy, so fun to see her here!
Cheryl my friend and former neighbor. Love her infectious laugh and spirit. When we get together it is like we have never been apart.  She brings such talent and love to everything she does.
Love this romantic prairie look.  How about you?
This sign says so much!  As I finished this post, I think how much I love to share my journeys, sometimes learning as I go. I want to thank all the vendors for allowing me to photograph their spaces, without their talents these photos would not be shared.  I am so ever grateful for their sharing.

Giddy With Excitement!

I am pretty giddy with excitement for this weekend as there are too great sales happening in my area.  Both are just about 15 min. to the North of me.  I can almost hear all the chatter and the creating that is happening.  Like when you were a kid out in the strawberry field harvesting the strawberries, every time I hear that kind of chatter, it takes me back to that time.  Well now this chatter draws me there to find some awesome treasures, along with seeing some of the sweetest people I know. The line up for both of these sales are some of the best.  Go here to see their line up of vendors and hours of their shows.  A Vintage Gathering, and Barn House.  I hope you can fit it into your weekend. You won't be disappointed!
